What is VBA?

Vero Beach Academy is a learning cooperative that offers a fresh approach to student education in Vero Beach, Florida. In the 2021-2022 school year, VBA will offer classes to ages PreK-8th grade. 


The Academy combines all the benefits of homeschooling and the formal classroom with the support of a caring community.


Students come on Tuesday and Thursday for class each week. A teacher will have class with the students from 9:00am-3:00pm. The day will consist of the core academic subjects - Reading, Grammar, Writing, Phonics, Bible, Math, Social Studies, Science and Handwriting. 


Parents are provided with homeschool lesson plans to complete on Mondays and Wednesdays which allow parents to be involved and engaged in their children’s education. Each family even receives a manipulative box that has supplies and hands on materials to help teach at home.
